About Be There Pet Care

Hello, I am Katie and the founder of Be There Pet Care.

I am 31 years old, married, living in Farnham Common and potty about pets. Having been brought up in the countryside and coming from a family of pet lovers, I have always been surrounded by pets of all shapes and sizes. These have been know to range from dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and such like, through to the more unusual pet ducks, chickens and even peacocks!

Since leaving University in 1998, I worked for IBM UK Ltd for 9 years under various guises, but I always knew I was in the wrong vocation. So drastic action was called for and I resigned to start something that I truely have a passion for, working with animals! And so the adventure began and Be There Pet Care was born.

We are currently the very proud owners of a beautiful Lab/Pointer cross, called Shooy, who we rescued from Battersea in Old Windsor back in September 2005. He is joy to walk and generally makes us laugh at this antics on a daily basis, even though his love for chasing squirrels can sometimes be very frustrating! We also have two gorgeous cats, who are loveable fluffballs, called Smokey & Tinker who are now approaching 15 years old and still going strong. They are definitely not as active these days and much prefer to laze around inside keeping warm!

I could go into detail about all my previous pets....but we would be here for an eternity!

Be There Pet Care, does not treat caring for your cats & other pets' welfares as a hobby - it is so much more than that to me. My passionate aim is for Be There Pet Care to provide a professional service combined with a friendly approach that people (and their pets) will appreciate. I wish that the services Be There Pet Care provide are a benefit to my clients and their pets in their daily lives and that they continue to value my commitment to their pets physical and mental well-being.

Unfortunately, Be There Pet Care, is no longer able to provide a dog walking service and is now focused solely on the pet sitting services.
